**Job Title: Service Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. This position involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial and commercial overhead doors and loading docks. The role primarily deals with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and requires minor electrical work. The Service Technician will work closely with customers to understand issues with equipment and perform minor mechanical repairs on forklifts. **Responsibilities** + Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial overhead doors and loading docks. + Work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. + Perform electrical work, including motor controls and wiring up to 480 volts. + Interact with customers to understand and resolve equipment issues. + Perform minor mechanical repairs on forklifts. + Maintain and service field equipment using hand tools, blueprints, schematics, and welding when necessary. + Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment. + Ensure the company truck is maintained and in good working condition. **Essential Skills** + Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. + Proficiency in mechanical repairs on forklifts, overhead doors, and dock equipment. + Ability to perform minor electrical work, including installation and wiring. + Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and field service protocols. + Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to interact with clients professionally and represent the company well. + Capability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance from lifters. + Must have steel-toed shoes. + Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet. + Valid driver's license. **Why Work Here?** We offer a supportive and family-oriented work environment.
