Our Service Writers ensure efficient vehicle maintenance scheduling and manage orders. Responsibilities: + Open work order request immediately upon receipt. + Close work order request immediately upon completion of quality inspection. + Ordering and scheduling of parts for buses and service vehicles. + Inventory Control. + Run and review reports as needed. + Answers shop telephones and schedule repair appointments. + Maintain vehicle information files. + Take road call information and dispatch mechanics or outside service. + Arrange pick-up of outside repairs. Requirements: + High school diploma or equivalent + Previous vehicle maintenance administrative experience preferred. + Strong data entry skills. + Computer literate with an advanced working knowledge.
