The Role

Infrastructure Specialists at Kyndryl are project-based subject matter experts in all things infrastructure – good at providing analysis, documenting and diagraming work for hand-off, offering timely solutions, and generally “figuring it out.” This is a hands-on role where your feel for the interaction between a system and its environment will be invaluable to every one of your clients.

There are two halves to this role: First, contributing to current projects where you analyze problems and tech issues, offer solutions, and test, modify, automate, and integrate systems. And second, long-range strategic planning of IT infrastructure and operational execution. This role isn’t specific to any one platform, so you’ll need a good feel for all of them. And because of this, you’ll experience variety and growth at Kyndryl that you won’t find anywhere else.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Installing and configuring the applications and plugins

Managing the IDs on the snow instance

Customizing the instance and other templates as per the requirements

Creation and customization of the business rules, ACLs, UI Policies, UI action

Managing the assests and configuration

Upgrading and developing and scripting in ServiceNow

Creating and/or customizing the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change. Knowledge

Handling of the IPC portfolio of the instance/account

Meeting and managing the KPI/SLAs as per the customer requirements

Creating import set, transform map and data load

Integrating knowledge webservice integration, third party integration, service now to service now integration.

Leading teams and ensuring escalation are handled in defined timelines

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in ServiceNow administration

Administration, Configuration and/or development experience in ServiceNow tool.

Should have strong knowledge of ITSM processes with process design experience.

Should Have strong skills and experience of problem solving and troubleshooting

Knowledge of ID creation/deletion, group creation/deletion, group delegation and classification.

Knowledge of creation/modification of ACLs, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI actions

Should have scripting knowledge (Java script, Jython)

Installing and configuring the applications and plugins

Managing the assets and configuration management

Strong Knowledge of development of Service Catalog and Catalog item with hands on experience

Knowledge of Upgrade and Patching in ServiceNow and knowledge of workflow, flow designer and update sets.

Experience on Creation of import set, transform map and data load

Integration knowledge webservice integration, Rest API, third party integration, service now to service now integration

Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and ServiceNow developers to gather and analyze requirements.

Establish and enforce ServiceNow development and operational best practices.

Provide expert-level guidance to project teams and act as a point of escalation for technical challenges.

Expert knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including scripting, integrations, and APIs.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the ServiceNow platform

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Preferred certification of ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) & ITSM

Lead teams and ensure escalation are handled in defined timelines
