The Office of Information Technology at the Dell Medical School is looking for a ServiceNow Architect.

Must be able to work demanding hours when required.  Includes nights, weekends and holidays. Must be available for 24x7 support as assigned. Hours will be discussed during interview.

Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled ServiceNow Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to meet the needs of our organization. The ServiceNow Architect will collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. 

Responsibilities

The ServiceNow Architect will be a senior team member who streamlines and automates business processes. By staying current with platform enhancements and emerging trends, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation and automation that improves customer and employee experience.  As an expert in the platform, you will assist in guiding the design, architecture, build, and maintenance of Dell Medical’s ServiceNow platform.

Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs. Evaluate project feasibility and provide technical leadership to ensure the successful execution of projects. Formulate implementation plans and complete implementation, testing, and documentation for new functionality. 

Review programs and systems written by other team members and provide technical expertise and feedback. Provide mentoring to junior staff. 

Stay current with platform enhancements and emerging trends to drive innovation and automation that improves customer and employee experience. Create and maintain technical architecture documentation.

Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Three years’ experience in enterprise software development. Three years’ experience in JavaScript. Three years’ experience in ServiceNow administration and configuration, including Incident Management, Request Management and Workflows (Flow Designer), Change Management, Knowledge Management, CMDB. Three years’ experience in implementing ServiceNow integrations (Rest API design, web services, database integrations). Three years’ experience in agile software development and SDLC. Three years’ experience in gathering, documenting, and analyzing customer requirements for software development. ServiceNow Advanced System Administrator. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work effectively without supervision. Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and strategic thinking. Demonstrated attention to detail. Business level proficiency in English. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Five years’ experience in enterprise software development. Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting languages. Five years’ experience in ServiceNow administration and configuration, including Incident Management, Request. Management and Workflows (Flow Designer), Change Management, Knowledge Management, CMDB, HR Service Delivery, and APIs/Integrations. Five years’ experience in agile software development and SDLC. Experience with design and implementation of CMBD. Experience with ServiceNow EMR Help, Major Incident Management, Employee Center, HR Service Delivery and Customer Service Management. Experience with ServiceNow delegated development. ITIL 4 Foundation Certification. ServiceNow Implementation Specialist and/or ServiceNow Application Developer Certifications. 

Salary Range

$99,444+ depending on qualifications

Working Conditions

May work around standard office conditions.

Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.

Occasional weekend, overtime and evening work to meet deadlines.
