Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services (KGS) is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our federal government focused development team. The successful candidate will have significant knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, services, and associated configurations. The ServiceNow Developer will provide expert consultation and technical leadership to the ServiceNow migration and development, including architecture, configuration, migration best practices, and strategies to support ServiceNow implementations. The candidate will also provide expertise in ServiceNow governance and work within an ITIL service delivery model for our clients. Key responsibilities include supporting the Technical Project Manager in gathering and analyzing requirements, solution design, and management of the platform while delivering high client satisfaction. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong creative, communication, and collaboration skills. The candidate MUST be able to work on the platform to develop and maintain complex applications/modules created within the platform by our customers. **Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:** + Developing strong client relationships with C-suite executives. + Provide technical leadership for planning, designing, configuring, testing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs and corporate objectives. + Develop and mentor junior colleagues, both on and off project teams (industry knowledge, client context, innovations, etc.) + Experience in developing custom portals and widgets using JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and HTML. + Experience developing custom widgets and ensuring their seamless integration with the portal. + Solid understanding of the scripting languages used in the platform, including Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), GlideScript, and Business Rules scripting. + Strong knowledge of the Service Portal architecture for efficient widget development including understanding the widget types, client and server scripts, and the overall portal configuration + Proficiency in JavaScript for client-side scripting. Additionally, knowledge of jQuery for simplifying DOM manipulation tasks. + In-depth knowledge of AngularJS forming the foundation for building dynamic and interactive user interfaces in the Service Portal + Ability to create responsive and mobile-friendly web applications to ensure a seamless user experience across various devices and screen sizes. + Experience with implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology. + Experience operating in agile software development and SDLC. + Work with the client and business stakeholders to create workflows, working demos, and prototypes prior to full deployment within the ServiceNow environment. + Transform business needs from the customer to tangible items within ServiceNow using platform modules or creating new scoped applications. + Develop new enhancements and custom apps and deploy to ServiceNow Store. This will require expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Workflows, Client Scripts, UI Policy, UI Actions + Experience with implementing ServiceNow integrations (Rest API design, web services, database integrations) **Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications. + Public Trust Clearance + 8+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, including core tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methods. + 6+ years of experience with AngularJS framework or Node.js JavaScript runtime environment + Experience with implementing scripted Web services in ServiceNow, jQuery, or Prototype libraries, Java, and CMDB or asset integrations in ServiceNow. + Ability to customize workflows, code Business Rules and UI Scripts using JavaScript to create custom applications and configurations on the ServiceNow platform. + Solved complex business problems by engineering existing, and new algorithms. + Knowledge of REST and SOAP Web services protocols + Demonstrated excellent communication skills with non-technical staff. + Ability to work independently with minimal direction. + Required ServiceNow Certification(s) **Working Environment & Conditions** This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
