What You Will Do:
As a ServiceNow Developer, you are an integral team member responsible for the design and development of core ServiceNow capabilities for in accordance with client requirements. Teams work with various clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements, current architecture, and approach needed for success of the engagement. Developers provide tool and capability recommendations based on your experience and research of the current product functionality.
• Responsible for supporting the design, development, and continuous improvement of enterprise Service Management solutions in ServiceNow
• Following industry standards, the successful candidate will collaborate with the existing internal ServiceNow team (and customers) on activities and development projects
• Development efforts will include (but are not limited to) custom portal pages, modules, API and software integrations, customized web pages, User interface policies, scripts, etc
• The ServiceNow Developer will participate in administration of ServiceNow to include upgrades, updates, etc. as needed
• Maintains technical expertise relevant industry standards and best practices in ServiceNow
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Develops creative technical solutions to complex problems
• Work is performed based on documented Project Implementation Plans
• Exercises judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Applies technical expertise and knowledge of other related disciplines
What You Will Need:
• 3+ years of proven ServiceNow development experience with relevant certs
• A well-rounded technology consulting experience desired, to include, ability to define requirements, lead client meetings, facilitate UAT, etc.
• Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF) desired
• Local to DC area and able to come in person 2 times a week
• Active Secret or ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Domain expertise in at least one ServiceNow product (ITSM, HRSD, GRC, CSM, SPM)
• Designing and implementing IT and Non-IT related process workflows, procedures and technical standards.
• Experienced in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including client requirement analysis and system design.
• Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
• Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP and REST preferred
• CIS- IT Service Management, Certified Systems Admin or other ServiceNow certifications preferred
• Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications
