CTG is seeking to fill a ServiceNow Developer opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.
**Location:** Buffalo, NY (Hybrid Remote)
**Duration:** 12 months
**Overview:**
This role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing flexibility to work from home two days a week while offering opportunities for in-person collaboration. This position focuses on ServiceNow development and administration, specifically for Vulnerability Response (VR) and Security Incident Response (SIR) modules. The ideal candidate will provide architectural, design, configuration, development, and operational support for VR and SIR.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Provide ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration for VR and SIR modules.
+ Deliver architectural solutions, including design, configuration, and operational support for VR and SIR.
+ Install and configure VR and SIR Plugins for lower environments (DEV, QA, UAT, ARCH, Training).
+ Design and implement solutions to enhance VR and SIR capabilities, including custom CI lookup rules, assignment rules, notification rules, and SLA definitions.
+ Support and improve remediation processes for VR and SIR.
+ Serve as a principal application designer for significant modifications to solve complex problems.
+ Participate in system development efforts, from technical analysis to user acceptance testing.
+ Lead technical components of project plans and monitor the activities of less experienced resources.
+ Prepare clear technical and functional specifications, including systems documentation and technical diagrams.
+ Evaluate and recommend new technologies, policies, and processes to improve systems and efficiency.
+ Maintain strong working knowledge of the business and strategic objectives of supported applications.
**Scope of Responsibilities:**
The role is supervised by the Technology Team Lead. The candidate will independently handle high-level systems analysis and technical development tasks. The position requires managing the activities of others on a project basis for small to large scope efforts, ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are met. Regular interaction with senior management, technology personnel, clients, and vendors is expected.
**Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:**
The job holder may monitor and direct less experienced staff, ensuring projects are delivered according to schedule and quality standards. May lead or participate in various committees and ad-hoc projects as needed.
**Education and Experience Required:**
+ Minimum of an Associate’s degree and 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience, or a combined minimum of 7 years of higher education and/or work experience, including 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience.
+ Advanced understanding of applications and integrated systems.
+ Proficiency in development software and relevant hardware platforms.
+ Experience coordinating between applications and business units.
+ Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Strong ability to work both independently and in team settings.
+ Demonstrated ability to drive project milestones and meet delivery dates.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
