Position Overview:The ServiceNow Developer will be an integral part of our team, responsible for the technical development and maintenance of ServiceNow instances. Reporting to the lead developer, this role will collaborate with the ServiceNow Team (Developers and BA/Admins) to design and implement solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will deliver automated, secure, and scalable NOW services, while effectively communicating and collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:Maintain and extend a stable production, development, and test infrastructureCreate workflows based on business requirements and best practicesDesign, develop, test, and implement moderate to complex NOW solutionsSupport security standards and architecture to comply with GDPR, HIPAA, and SecOps requirementsPerform integrations between ServiceNow and other internal and external systemsManage all NOW objects, including Tables, Business rules, Scripting, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, UI pages, UI macros, etc.Develop, improve, and support portals used by internal and external usersEfficiently research and resolve technical issues and escalated NOW incidentsCollaborate with other ServiceNow development team members to propose solutions based on business needs and strategiesSupport complex reports and dashboardsSkills / Competencies:Proficiency in NOW Modules: ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, Source to Pay, GRC, ACC Discovery, CSDM CMDB Architecture, AWS/Azure Discovery including Cloud Management, NOW Virtual Agent, ServiceNow Mobile, Flow Designer, Software Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management, Integration Hub, Automation and Orchestration, API and 3rd Party Integrations, MID Server management, Automated Testing FrameworkWorking knowledge of Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence), Salesforce, and event management tools (Data Dog/Splunk/etc.)Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilitiesEducation / Training:ServiceNow Certification(s) are a plusAgile scrumAWS/Cloud Management experience is a strong plusITIL Certification is a strong plusBachelor of Science in Computer Science, a similar technical discipline, or comparable industry experienceProfessional Experience:Minimum 7+ years of IT experience5+ years supporting, developing, and implementing ServiceNowRequired Ǫualifications:Proven experience in ServiceNow development and administration.Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and capabilities.Experience with ServiceNow integrations, Integration Hub, and APIs.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
