Job Summary:

We are seeking a well-rounded and motivated ServiceNow ITAM Developer to join our dynamic team. As a ServiceNow technical expert, you will play a pivotal technical leadership role in successfully deploying and supporting ServiceNow Software and Hardware Asset Management solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with IT Asset Management Process Owner and other key stakeholders to configure and implement ServiceNow Asset Management - SAM Pro, HAM Pro - applications to meet specific business requirements. This individual needs to have a solution-driven mindset to best work through the deliverables around the needs of the organization. Excellent communication and documentation skills are extremely important. If you’re passionate about creating efficient workflows, improving user experiences, and solving complex business challenges, this role is for you. This is a key member of ServiceNow Platform Delivery and Services team.

Required Skillset/Experience:

5-8 years of hands-on experience with the implementation, administration and support of ServiceNow IT Service Management and IT Asset Management HAM and SAM is required.Desirable to have implementation/support of Flexera data management platform and integration with ServiceNow CMDB/Asset ManagementProficiency in ServiceNow development, including creating custom applications, modules and workflowsUnderstanding of ServiceNow data model, tables and relationshipsHands-on technical experience with the implementation of HAM and SAMDeep functional and technical understanding of ServiceNow Hardware and Software Asset ManagementUnderstanding of IT hardware and software asset lifecycle managementKnowledge of ServiceNow orchestration for automating IT processesExperience developing ServiceNow APIs, ServiceNow Workflows, Flow Designer, UI Pages, UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, Security RulesExperience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Angular.js, Perl, PowershellGood understanding of ServiceNow CMDBExperience implementing REST API integration with third party toolsUnderstanding of security best practices within ServiceNow, access controls, roles and permissionsAbility to create custom reports, dashboards and visualizationsFamiliarity with ServiceNow Performance AnalyticsExperience with backend SQL Server development is preferredStrong problem-solving skills, communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

Serve as the technical subject-matter-expert for ServiceNow IT Hardware and Software Asset ManagementTake ownership and collaborate with IT Asset Management process/function owners and SMEs across IT to implement and enhance capabilitiesLead the requirements and design workshops, and implementationDesign, develop, test implement and support ServiceNow IT Asset Management capabilitiesAnalyze existing processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement, consolidation, and enhancementEngage in day-to-day operational support and continuous capability improvementEngage in on call support as neededMaintain adequate operational documentation and reporting

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

The typical base pay range for this role is between $139K - $168K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
