Pay Range: $63,039.34 to $87,428.12 

Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

 


Due to Kwik Trip’s continued growth and success, we are adding a Full-Time ServiceNow Platform Developer.   While best known for our product and service offerings to our 8 million retail guests each week throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa, a lesser-known fact is beautiful La Crosse, WI is home to our ever expanding 140+ acre support campus.  Our La Crosse Campus includes a wide variety of production facilities, distribution center, truck maintenance facility, transportation/logistics, store construction, fuel trading, sales, and pretty much every support department you can imagine a 32,000-coworker strong organization would have. 

 

 

Job Description:

As a ServiceNow Platform Developer, you will play a key role in the design, development, configuration, and customization of various ServiceNow applications, modules, and services. Your work will support and drive the growth of Kwik Trip by enhancing our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers, coworkers, and suppliers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our ServiceNow platform aligns with business objectives and provides scalable, efficient solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
 

Regular tasks include:

Conceptualizing, designing, coding, testing, implementing, documenting, and supporting high-quality applications within the ServiceNow platform.Developing no-code, low-code, and pro-code flows, scripts, configurations, and user interfaces to enhance user experiences and streamline processes.Collaborating within an Agile Kanban framework to prioritize and deliver features and enhancements.Remediating incidents and resolving issues within your aligned modules, ensuring compliance with Change Management processes.Driving the growth, integration, and adoption of the ServiceNow platform across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maximizing platform value.

  

Qualifications:  The ideal candidate will have a 2-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. Previous experience with the ServiceNow platform, particularly in development, is highly preferred. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer certifications are also preferred; candidates who do not currently hold these certifications will be required to obtain them within the first year of employment. Additionally, knowledge of the following technologies and tools is highly desirable: ServiceNow Development Stack and Tools (Studios, Builders, and Designers), and scripting languages such as JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and Jelly.

 

The selected individual should possess the knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws, knowledge of all phases of system development and project management.  The candidate should possess the following: ability to be a self-starter; be self-motivated; effectively prioritize and execute tasks in order to meet deadlines; possess superior analytical and problem-solving skills; possess strong customer service skills; accurate and detail orientated; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work well with users, development staff, and technical staff is essential; work with minimal supervision; manage projects from beginning to end; work in a safety conscious environment. 

 

Work schedule:  Monday through Friday, daytime hours with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.

Hybrid work schedule:  This position allows for a rotating hybrid work schedule with one week being 2 days, 3 days out and the following week being 3 days in, 2 days out.

Flexible work schedule:  This position allows for a flexible half day every other Friday.
