Job Summary:

Application coding design and standards. Analyzes and studies complex system requirements. Designs software tools, supports software reuse and domain analysis, and manages their implementation. Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.

Required Skills/Experience:

Experience with developing and managing data models. Experience designing and developing solutions with PaaS solutions such as ServiceNow in an Agile Software Development environment. Experience designing and developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) with Representation State Transfer (REST), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON). Technical proficiency with developing database queries, batch jobs, and stored procedures with PL/SQL and NoSQL. Experience developing solutions using Message Services, including management of Apache ActiveMQ. Experience with DevOps pipeline tools including configuration management, requirements (e.g., JIRA), automated testing, and deployment. Experience developing applications with responsive web design frameworks to support multiple platforms including compatibility with Chrome, Internet Explorer, Java, and iOS. Experience with W3C web design standards and technologies, including CSS, HTML 5, JavaScript. Experience with all aspects of configuration management planning including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, configuration documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience; or a master’s degree with three years of experience. Two years of experience developing management dashboards using ServiceNow Excellent reading comprehension, writing and communication skills that include the ability to effectively communicate with personnel from various programs. A minimum of two years of experience in responding to requests for information and searching automated systems for data. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
