ServiceNow Senior Developer

This is a global position as part of the Global Digital Workflows team with focus on the automation of current IT Services.

As a ServiceNow senior developer, you are implementing the technical solutions to enable our services and handle their integration with end users, providers and vendors

Your tasks and responsibilities:

You ensure the timely development of tested solutions (functional testing).

Identifying & analyzing issues, bugs, defects, and other challenges, particularly when problems recur

You are documenting the developed solutions and the error handling as Knowledge articles

You are collaborating with a international set up of Testers, Business Analysts, Business Stakeholders.

You will support the troubleshooting, testing and documentation of your solutions.

You follow the best practices and standards for the ServiceNow platform and ensure the quality, security and performance of your solutions.

You will work closely with the business analysts, project managers and other developers to understand and meet the requirements.

Your qualifications and experience:

You have successfully completed a bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable

You have at least 5-7 Years of IT work experience in software development

You have gathered of the past 2-4 years in least 3 of following ServiceNow modules expert knowledge: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, SecOps, IRM/GRC

You already have very well-founded, many years of professional experience and further qualifications in this field, but no degree? Then we also look forward to receiving your application.

You use your knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST API and other web technologies to create user-friendly and powerful applications.

You have experience in working in an agile team within an agile environment

Your ability to lead discussions on relevant business topics in English language is the basis for efficient and eye-level communication with colleagues and partners worldwide

You are an expert in modern software architecture definition and management with hands-on experience and like to code yourself and get hands-on.

With your high level of social competence and the ability to work in a team, you can interact with colleagues on an equal footing and build a trusting relationship.

Good communication, presentation & teamwork skills with cross-functional, intercultural teams

Knowledge of IT Service Management processes

Familiar with working in a regulated environment following defined processes, procedures to ensure quality

Strong analytical, technical, and conceptual problem-solving skills

Proactive hands-on mentality

Certified ServiceNow System Administrator

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 3500 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
