Summary:
The ServiceNow Solution Architect plays a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. Responsible for analyzing business requirements, architecting solutions, and leading the technical implementation of ServiceNow platform capabilities.
Major Responsibilities:
Interface with the platform owner, enterprise architects and development teams leading the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions in alignment with requirements and standards.
Establish a strong technical foundation in the ServiceNow Platform and design solutions that drive business outcomes.
Architect, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications/modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and CMDB to meet organizational requirements.
Develop and maintain documentation related to ServiceNow architecture, design decisions, configurations, and integrations.
Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to development teams to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
Stay abreast of ServiceNow updates, releases, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the platform
Planning, executing, communicating, and working collaboratively to define solutions across the platform that align to out of the box capabilities, defining CMDB process comprising analysis, plan, design and implement phase.
Facilitate strategic planning functions including business value identification, road mapping, as well as advising and defining successful execution strategies
Qualifications:
Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, best practices, and a strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to speak (verbally and written) to a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding the best practice use cases on the ServiceNow Platform
Ability to formally present data to a broad range of stakeholders, platform users, technical teams, and Sr. leadership members with a clear, concise, and relevant technical level of detail for the audience
Business fundamentals, including metrics reporting, business process management, customer centricity and value creation, and business problem solving
Experience and Education Requirements:
Bachelors/Master in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an architecture role
Minimum 5+ years of ServiceNow Platform Architect Experience is required
