We are seeking an experienced Serviceperson for an LNG construction project in Squamish BC. You will be an integral part of the LBLNG team who prides themselves on safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating in accordance with quality, safety and efficiency standards.

Essential Responsibilities: 

Operate trucks to safely service heavy equipment as required and directed Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities Complete equipment inspections, report repairs required and assist in scheduling these repairsComplete maintenance records and documentation as required Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures 

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Serviceperson on heavy equipment Knowledge of parts and servicing of Caterpillar, John Deere & Komatsu equipment typesDemonstrated ability to work under minimal supervisionSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testingMust have a valid Driver's License and clear 3-year driver's abstractCSTS-2020 or Site Ready BC

Work Conditions:

Compensation

$39.36 - $39.36

This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.

Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.

Woodfibre Management Ltd, a privately held Canadian company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, is spearheading the Woodfibre LNG Project, a proposed Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) export facility currently in the pre-construction phase. Situated near Squamish, British Columbia, on the site of a former pulp mill, the project is a collaboration between Woodfibre LNG and Pacific Canbriam Energy, both subsidiaries of Pacific Energy Corporation Limited. Notably, the project has secured environmental approvals from the B.C. and Canadian governments, as well as from the Squamish Nation. This initiative, recognized as the first-ever environmental approval by an Indigenous people in the absence of a treaty, highlights Woodfibre's commitment to responsible and inclusive development. The facility aims to leverage low-emission Canadian natural gas, meeting high demand in countries transitioning from coal to natural gas for its environmental benefits. Through the use of renewable hydro-electricity, the project strives to become the world's lowest-emission LNG export facility.
