Job Summary/ Position Overview:We are looking for a “Principal Operations Lead / SRE” experienced in hands-on eCommerce platform operations and having enough experience towards driving the transformational programs involving Adobe Commerce and other enterprise eco system dependent platforms. This role will be responsible for core platform operations and influence and set best practices for operations of the tenants as well. Immediate focus on managing HP Store Europe operations with a long-term focus on overall eCommerce platform operations including HP Store globally.
Site reliability engineering (SRE) is the practice of using software tools to automate IT infrastructure tasks such as system management and application monitoring. Organizations use SRE to ensure their software applications remain reliable amidst frequent updates from development teams.
SRE especially improves the reliability of scalable software systems because managing a large system using software is more sustainable than manually managing hundreds of machines.
This role will work in tight partnership with the Engineering organizations to ensure operational excellence is achieved in infrastructure, application and e2e eco system management. The role also required focus on process level improvements and governance/communications model including metrics & representation to various stakeholders.
The ideal candidate would have a solid foundation and demonstrated experience leading ecommerce-based operations, knowledge on architecture, and design with strong analytical skills. would require a balance of product-centric technical expertise and ability to also manage operations leading the platform towards stability.
