The primary purpose of this position is as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to serve as the subject matter expert for the Services career field within the Force Support Squadron, and ensure reservists are properly trained and equipped to provide wartime combat and peacetime Services support. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and manage the daily activities of the Services Function. Manage the combat readiness of the Sustainment Services Flight. Serve as the principal advisor to Senior Leadership on all Services Readiness issues. Act as Flight Resource Advisor, Wing Lodging Liaison, and Food Service Coordinator. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in federal service (or equivalent in other pay systems) which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) to perform successfully the duties of the position being filled. Specialized experience is experience which includes assisting in the planning, organizing, guidance, personnel training, and management of administrative tasks that support and ensure mission readiness of the unit. OR EDUCATION: Three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or LL.M., if related. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100 percent.
