Set Up Operator - DIRECT HIRE
**Adecco Staffing is working with a high-level manufacturing facility in Laconia, NH who is looking to hire additional Setup Operators on 1st and 2nd shift! This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.** **Position:** Set-up Operator – DIRECT HIRE **Schedule/Shift:** + **1** **st** **Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday** OT may be required when needed + 2nd Shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am Monday – Friday, OT may be required when needed. **Pay Rate** : + 1st Shift: $20.92/hr + 2nd Shift: $ 23.01/hr **Job Summary:** Perform required duties to set up a minimum of one machine in the Grinding Department, to perform a limited variety of finish grinding or honing on ferrous, non-ferrous parts, working to close and critical tolerances and finishes. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Work from drawings, process sheets, specifications, standard procedures, instructions. + Finish grind such parts as balls, races, bodies, flange bushings, bushings, bearings, and rod end assemblies. + Perform bearing releasing operations. + Select speeds, feeds, and set tooling on machines. + Monitor machines and make adjustments as necessary to ensure parts meet production standards. + Change grinding wheels and diamond tool points when required. + Run first piece to ensure standards are met and obtain department approval for production run. + Maintain inspection department initial calibration of gauging using masters and gauging blocks. + Sharpen tooling. + Operate one or more machines simultaneously. + Use precision measuring instruments, master gauges, gauging + blocks, dressing, and hand tools. + Move materials as necessary in the performance of duties. + Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to supervision. + Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. **Job Skills & Abilities:** + Must have Hs Diploma/GED + Read and understand product blueprint/specification sheets from engineering department + Read, reference and interpret written and verbal instructions; always following established standard procedures + Maintain established production levels and quality standards + Recognize and report any irregularities as to fits, defective parts, finishes, work techniques and/or quality of workmanship + Maintain necessary records; work is subject to audited inspections **If you are interested in this position, please apply to this posting with an updated resume!** **Pay Details:** $20.92 to $23.01 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
