THE JOB:  

As a Set Up Supervisor for Convention and Banquets you are an essential part of guest experience. Your dedication to provide delightful convention, meeting, and banquet experiences for guests will set the stage for the memories that guests can carry with them well past their stay with us. By ensuring efficient daily operations, and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment, you play a crucial role in elevating the overall guest experience.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Ensure efficient daily operation through the supervision of the set-up and tear down of conventions, meetings and banquets in the Conference Center, Arena, Studio Rooms, Hotel, and Pools

Foster effective communication with clients and Convention Services Managers to ensure client satisfaction

Attend pre-conference meetings on upcoming functions

Deliver team updates, conduct pre-shift meetings, motivate and direct team

Inventory equipment and supplies in order to maintain proper par stocks levels

Communicate policies and procedures, and ensure compliance

Handle employee and guest complaints with the intent of resolving situations to the satisfaction of all parties

Perform other job-related duties as requested

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent educational experience

 Currently hold or be able to obtain a Food Handlers Card

2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience

Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 

Bilingual

 Experience in a similar resort setting

Prior experience in a leadership role

Has a flexible schedule

Is proficient in Microsoft Office

Has the ability to multitask and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment

Is team-centric and has strong interpersonal skills
