Hours: 5:00am-5:00pm or 5:00pm-5:00am 4 days on/4 days off

Pay Rate: $20.30/hr. plus .50 shift differential

Location: Plant City, FL

While reporting to the Supervisor, as the Set-Up Technician, you will be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations.  Safety, quality, productivity, and strong work ethic are important to the Sonoco culture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1) Check on Job status on presses: Ink, paper, plates, dies, boxes (need 150 made at end of shift), acetate, and cores2) Demount and put away all jobs that are finished3) Open pallets of stock for Pressman4) Move pallets to staging area when jobs are finished5) Keep up with compactor and compactor area cleaned6) Move blue bins when full7) Keep press area clean, trash, pallets, plastic, etc.8) Check plates and dies, if cut put in plate room to remake, do not throw cut ones out9) Help Pressman with change overs10) Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
