**Job Title: Set-Up Technician** **Job Description** The Set-Up Technician conducts tooling set-ups, including tool installation, machine preparation, and barrel cleaning to support the injection molding process. Additionally, the role involves distributing material for molding operations, troubleshooting and resolving production problems, and monitoring product quality and process productivity. **Responsibilities** + Perform equipment set-ups as directed, including installing injection molds and ensuring equipment generates good parts. + Adjust machine parameters to correct defects observed during production. + Work with process engineering to troubleshoot, improve processes, optimize cycle time, and conduct engineering tests. + Collect and enter data as needed to support documented procedures. + Handle robot programming and optimization. + Clean barrels and grinders. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude + Basic to moderate computer/PC skills (MS Office) + Good time management skills + Ability to work independently and in a team environment + Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions + Good communication skills with the ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures in English **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Hand and power tool experience + Mechanical aptitude preferred + Ability to work varying work schedules during training + Regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, talk, hear, and see + Must be able to frequently stand and walk + Must be ITAR compliant **Why Work Here?** Employees working 30+ hours per week on a consistent basis enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical (HSA or PPO), generous HSA contribution, prescription, dental, vision, short & long term disability, group life, dependent life, whole life, AD&D, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, FSA, LegalShield, pre-tax transit passes, tuition reimbursement, and 401k with a generous employer match. The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, with a swing shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
