Kforce's client, a publicly traded renewable energy company, is seeking a Settlement Analyst in Houston, TX. The role is 2 days in the office & 3 days work from home. The Settlement Analyst is responsible for managing shadow settlements for various ISOs (independent system operators). This position is also responsible for managing the revenue billing and accounts receivable process for large utility-scale solar and wind plants, understanding contractual stipulations associated with -price- and -quantity- and managing documents and ensuring regulatory compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Responsibilities: * Management of all assigned ISO processes including data management, reporting and timely analysis * Energy settlements experience with complex structured transactions and RTO/ISO Settlements and a fundamental understanding of energy trading risk management (ETRM) systems * Managing the dispute process with the ISO and qualified scheduling entities (QSE) * Support the Accounting team with various tasks including recording settlement activity as part of accounting close, managing regulatory filings and audit requests, and performing trend analyses * Responsible for all revenue billing and cash applications for all large utility-scale solar and wind projects * Provide reports, analyses, trend analyses, or other ad hoc reports as required by both internal and external parties to support legal, regulatory, and commercial requirements
