SummaryWe are recruiting for a Live Settlement Coordinator. Acts as primary backup to weekly breeder producer payment process by ensuring the accuracy of the data and reviewing the edits prior to payment. Acts as primary back up to weekly broiler producer payment process by ensuring the accuracy of the data and reviewing the grower pay summary and other supporting documentation prior to payment. Supports both Breeder & Broiler Accounting teams to ensure all settlement activities are thoroughly reviewed each week
This position has a target wage of $20.80 - $31.20 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities1. In a supporting role, work with the Breeder Settlement Coordinator to ensure all tasks associated with generating weekly breeder grower pay are performed accurately. On a weekly basis this may include calculating and reviewing settlement reports; auditing and reviewing producer agreements and payment schedules; entering bank assignments, Perdue notes, and personal account activity; and running system audit reports for data validation.
2. In a supporting role, work with the Broiler Settlement Coordinators to ensure all tasks associated with generating weekly broiler producer settlements are performed accurately. On a weekly basis this may include reviewing and auditing settlements for specific location(s); uploading O/S feed purchases; daily feed postings and reconciliations; invoice payment and deductions for receivables; and calculating manual pay adjustments. Support broiler settlement accuracy through feed ticket verification auditing.
3. Coordinate and perform all tasks related to electronic file storage to include Kofax indexing support.
4. Perform Producer File Audits and support KPMG flock audits for both Breeder & Broiler departments.
5. Act as a backup for various tasks in the Breeder and Broiler departments including preparing invoices for egg & feed sales, entering new/updated farm assignments or bonuses, processing fuel or ingredient invoices.
Minimum Education and ExperienceRequired: High School diploma plus 2 -3 years related work experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Payroll.
Must be proficient with various PC software applications. Proficient in math and Excel skills. Excellent written and oral communications skills are needed. Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment. Must be able to learn new systems and complex tasks quickly. Attention to detail is essential.
Preferred: Associates degree in business or a related discipline. Live Operations experience would be beneficial. Knowledge of MTech and SAP is a plus.
Environmental Factors and Physical RequirementsPosition is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. May need to climb ladders.
