Cenovus is looking for a skilled Settlements Analyst to join our team in Dublin, Ohio! This individual will provide accounting support to the Trading, Supply & Logistics & Marketing business unit focused on US Refined Products. The individual will be responsible for handling functions related to the Accounts Payable lifecycle. This position works closely as part of an integrated team to ensure all the company’s commitments are handled promptly and with quality.
What you’ll do: Communicating with vendors to ensure that invoices are accurate and compliant with company guidelinesMatching invoices to transaction system(s) to ensure that all transactions are recorded correctlyReviewing invoices for accuracy and documentation requirementsCoding of invoices to ensure appropriate accounting treatmentCoordinating with accounting staff to ensure that payments are processed correctlyMonthly reporting & reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts and vendor accountsWho you are:Legally authorized to work in the USHigh school diploma or GED certificate. Bachelors degree an asset.0-2+ years of progressive experience in AP or related roleAdvanced Excel & SAP skills would be an asset.Experience in oil, gas or refined product marketing/trading would be considered an assetWe acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.
