Sewer Level 1
As a Sewer Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining sewing machines to produce high-quality textile products. You will work as part of a team to ensure that production targets are met while maintaining strict quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\n\n \nIn this role, you will impact the production process by ensuring that all sewn products meet the required specifications and quality standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
Sewing\n operations such as sewing, serging, binding, sealing assembly and other\n similar operationsPerform the function of\n sewing or assembling fabric or hardware in a safe and efficient mannerPrepares machine by\n changing needles and thread, oiling and changing bobbin, and securing\n attachmentsSews materials together\n by guiding material under machine needlePerform the various hand\n tasks necessary to sew products including turning the material to hem,\n join pieces, and repairing defective productsPerform counting and\n inspecting of the product during the sewing processMeet or exceed monthly\n productivity goals for the position as well as contribute significantly to\n department goalsMaintain work areas and\n tooling in neat and orderly condition, has an understanding of the 5S\n conceptsMaintain all required\n recordsPerform other duties as\n required or assignedU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTSDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
