1st Shift: 5:00am-1:00pm or from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Operator to maintain a basic sewing process, including changing and threading needles, securing attachments, and performing process steps as instructed. The ideal candidate will maintain a high quality of workmanship with attention to detail, achieve acceptable daily output, perform quality checks, and provide feedback to area supervision on the performance of processes and equipment. Following instructions for production is essential.

We support state and federal agencies, including military, law enforcement, and construction trades. The products we manufacture directly support our troops both locally and abroad. We are increasing our pay in November and are continuing to grow and expand. We will be adding a 2nd and 3rd shift, offering promotional opportunities. These positions are direct hire and offer full-time benefits, PTO, 401k, HSA, and company-sponsored events that include family members.

Work Environment

The work hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with an early out at 2:15 PM if the afternoon break is not used. Overtime shifts are from 5:00 AM to 3:15 PM due to being short-staffed. Once fully staffed, the schedule will revert to 6:00 AM to 2:15 PM. The facility is clean, organized, mild in temperature, and well-lit. It is quiet, and employees can listen to headphones (one earbud) during work hours. Gym shoes and casual dress are required, as well as eye protection.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.82 - $17.82/hr.
