Job Type/Status: Full-Time
Duties and Responsibilities:
Insures coordination of clinical functioning of the SAT program with other internal programs, the Center's Medical Director, and with external programs and agencies;
Participates in quality improvement activities within the program and participates in agency-wide quality improvement activities, as directed;
Coordinates treatment planning and completes timely reports to DCP&P, the Prosecutor's Office, the Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT), FQHC, Probation, Parole, IDRC, schools and other relevant agencies and services;
Insures that SAT staff are oriented to and operates according to established agency and program procedures;
Represents the agency and the program at various professional and other meetings;
Meets with supervisors on a regular basis;
Provides direct clinical services to clients and maintains a caseload:
Develops comprehensive holistic assessments of consumers in the SAT and OPMH program to include children, adolescents, and involve family members as indicated.
Develops individual and family focused treatment plans which are goal directed; involve family members as indicated.
Provides individual, group and family therapy to consumers in the SAT and OPMH programs to include children, adolescents, and adults.
Completes evaluations and treatment progress notes in accordance with agency policies.
Coordinates treatment with other Center for Family Services programs;
Completes evaluations and treatment progress notes in accordance with agency policies;
Stays familiar with community resources including 12-step and other self-help groups, and refers clients as indicated;
Participates in regularly scheduled department meetings and attends scheduled administrative/ clinical meetings;
Participates in program and agency performance improvement activities.
Takes responsibility for professional development and meeting licensure requirements for maintaining credentials through participation in continuing education activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or other behavioral health discipline from an accredited University
Licensed for clinical practice in NJ (e.g., NJ LCSW, LSW, LPC, LAC)
3 years supervised experience providing behavioral health services
