Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will guide employees on issues related to a sexual assault prevention and response program. You will serve as point of contact for senior management, faculty, or staff regarding sexual assault response programs. You will complete risk assessments and documentation for case review. You will develop reports, information papers, talking points, briefing packages, or other Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) program information for senior leaders. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirement for this position at the GS-11 level, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Providing non-clinical support to adult victims of sexual assault and sexual harassment; 2.) Developing, marketing and analyzing services provided to victims of sexual assault and sexual harassment; 3.) Employing various methods and techniques typical of a sexual harassment victim advocate program. In addition to the Basic Requirement for this position at the GS-09 level, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Assisting with providing non-clinical support to adult victims of sexual assault and sexual harassment; 2.) Developing, marketing or analyzing services provided to victims of sexual assault or sexual harassment; 3.) Assisting with developing or coordinating sexual assault prevention and awareness campaigns or events. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment Education Applicants must meet the following basic/positive education qualification requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess: Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required specialized experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: For the GS-11 Level: Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position OR Successful completion of 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree. OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. For the GS-09 Level: Successful completion of a Master's Degree or equivalent doctoral degree in a related discipline appropriate to the position OR Successful completion of 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree. Additional Information This announcement uses the direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. This position is subject to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays, in an on-call or rotational basis. The on-call or rational status requires varied work hours, to include a requirement to be available 24/7. Vacancies filled from this announcement may be filled at any grade level listed. If selected below the full performance level, you may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed.
