Lead start-up projects and support existing driverless operations, reporting to the program Director. You will responsible for developing executable operational procedures and checklists to enable safe Autonomous Vehicles (Avs) operations.
Lead and assist in the documentation, communication, and implementation of procedures for Driverless Support Specialists including, but not limited to vehicle operation, preparation, cleaning, charging, and lost and found.
Hire, grow, develop, manage, and lead a team of Operations Coordinators, and Driverless Support Specialists in the safe, efficient execution of garage and fleet operations.
Work cross functionally with all autonomous vehicle operations and fleet management to enable end-to-end safe, efficient execution.
Document ongoing operational efficiencies gained and drive continuous improvement from identification to implementation of procedural changes.
Experience in operations leadership, operations planning, or project management at a fast-paced start-up or tech company.
Ability to work both remotely and on-site in one or more of the Cruise offices and garages.
You are a tenacious teammate, with a bias toward action and a continuous improvement approach. You work well with others.
Competency in G-Suite products (Slides, Sheets, Forms) and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
The ability to communicate key issues coherently and confidently to diverse stakeholder groups.
Operational experience with a large, 24/7 frontline workforce.
Mobility or transportation experience, particularly with a large fleet.
Entrepreneurial experience/ownership mentality or other innovation history.
Enthusiasm for the potential of autonomous driving to move life forward in our cities and improve road safety.
