Job Purpose:

Linde seeks a Safety, Health Environmental (SHE) Specialist for its facility in Nederland, TX, one of Linde's largest globally. Reporting to the LGUS SHE Director, this role will serve as a site resource for safety, environmental, health, security, and emergency response, fostering operational excellence and a culture aligned with Linde's values.

Scope:

As a senior-level professional, this role applies advanced knowledge of operational safety, process safety, pipeline safety, and environmental standards to protect the health and safety of employees, the community, and the environment. The position provides leadership and guidance to minimize accidents and incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Collaboration: Work with site employees, leadership, and corporate teams to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally conscious workplace.Daily Management: Oversee daily safety and environmental activities at the site.Expertise Demonstration: Apply knowledge in safety, industrial hygiene, Process Safety Management (PSM), environmental compliance, emergency response, and site security.Improvement Implementation: Identify and implement safety improvement opportunities proactively.Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Linde policies and standards.Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents/incidents, manage reporting, and facilitate Root Cause Analysis.Training Delivery: Conduct effective safety training programs to educate employees on protocols and procedures.Industrial Hygiene Monitoring: Perform industrial hygiene monitoring and assessments.Environmental Reporting: Prepare and submit required environmental reports for permits and regulations.Field Engagement: Engage with employees in proactive field interactions to address issues and prevent incidents.Computer Proficiency: Utilize computer systems proficiently, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
