ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Follow all rules, regulations, policies and procedures for the property area and assist in protecting and safeguarding all property assets. Must be able to comply with all National Aquatic Safety Company (NASCO) standards. Ensure all rides are being operated properly as outlined under departmental SOPs. Maintain lifejacket stands daily. Maintains a working knowledge of facilities/outlets and special and upcoming events on property, in order to advise customers of same, whenever possible. Communicates important, relevant information to following shift. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

AGE and GAMING:
16 years of age or above on or before September 30, 2025. Non – Gaming property
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED is preferred.
TESTING:
Swim Test: (Must be able to swim 50 yards continuously). (Must be able to retrieve a ten pound brick from 4 feet of water). Must complete and pass Lifeguard Training taught by the NASCO instructors at the Park.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Essential responsibilities include physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least fifty (50) pounds, and standing/walking 90% of the shift. Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, reach, twist, and grip throughout shift. This position is required to work outside in direct weather conditions and may perform responsibilities and/or essential functions on slippery or wet surfaces as well as exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme weather/heat.
