Join our dynamic client-facing finance team as a Shared Accountant and play a vital role in supporting a portfolio of managed golf clubs. You’ll work closely with internal teams like Accounts Payable and Regional Controllers to deliver accurate financial reporting, exceptional customer service, and seamless accounting processes.
As part of the Troon Corporate team, you’ll thrive at our Scottsdale, AZ, headquarters in a collaborative and innovative environment. Following the training period, this position offers a hybrid schedule, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of managed golf clubs. Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules. Record daily sales and post journal entries. Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, fixed assets, deferred revenue, sales tax, and accruals. Conduct research and contribute to variance analysis. Provide excellent service and support to General Managers and corporate Operations teams. Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns. Monitor daily cash flow and coordinate weekly disbursement selections with assigned clubs. Perform other duties as needed to support financial operations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business with an emphasis in Accounting is required. Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience; hospitality industry experience is a plus.Preferred Skills & Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Regular, reliable attendance and the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Ability to read and speak English to fulfill job requirements.
