Manager of Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable:
The manager is responsible for the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. They oversee both processes: (1) from the issuance of the invoice to the customer until the receipt of payment AND (2) from receipt of supplier invoice to the payment being made. This role is responsible for the processes in the USA and Canada but may be asked to work on teams to standardize the processes around the globe.

Reviewing and evaluating the accounts payable and receivable registers to validate charges and ensure timely and accurate payments and receipt of payments.Monitoring account aging reports, identifying delinquent accounts, and referring accounts to collection agencies.Verifying customer credit limits that set by treasury and confirming payment terms.Designing and implementing standard policies and procedures to ensure accurate and compliant financial records.Working to improve the procedures of the accounts payable and receivable functions to create efficiency.The chosen professional should have the following skills:
Ability to manage the day-to-day operations of the AR/AP department, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, and maintaining accurate financial records.Review and validate the accounts payable and receivable registers, monitors aging reports, and identifies delinquent accounts for collection actions.Assist in the design standard policies and procedures for efficient financial operations.Should hold a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required, along with extensive knowledge of accounting processes and departmental functions.Play a crucial role in the financial health of an organization by ensuring timely collections and payments, conducting credit checks, negotiating with clients in non-payment cases, and preparing forecast reports.Support and train AR/AP Clerks, ensuring that all team members follow accounting principles and stay updated on industry changes.Role requires experience in a supervisory capacity, demonstrating the ability to manage a team, meet departmental goals, and adhere to approved budgets.The position demands excellent analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, good communication skills and a strong problem-solving attitude.A CPA certification, while not required, can be an added advantage for the role.The position requires a bachelor's degree and will report to the Director of Global Shared Services. The position will have two direct reports – the A/R Lead and the A/P Lead.
We are seeking a professional with 5 to 10 years of applicable experience, with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience.

The Shared Services Manager position offers a competitive salary, bonus opportunity, and benefits package, as well as the opportunity to work for a global company that is committed to sustainability, safety, and inclusion. The base salary range of this role is $119,280 to $134,190. This position is also bonus eligible.
