Shared Service Manager AP and AR
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Knoxville, Tennessee for a Shared Service Manager AP and AR. As part of our team, you will oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, providing leadership to the team, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is crucial to our ongoing success and growth within the industry. Responsibilities: • Oversee the processing and management of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations • Develop and monitor department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Train, mentor, and supervise team members to ensure optimal performance • Perform account reconciliation including balance sheet account reconciliation and aging reports • Manage intercompany transactions and accounting activities • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure financial accuracy • Support the Controller with special projects as needed • Use SyteLine and SAP software for effective management and reporting • Ensure adherence to auditing standards and practices • Utilize Automated Clearing House (ACH) for efficient financial transactions. For immediate consideration please contact Lisa Coker at 865-370-2084 to set up an interview Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential. • Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is mandatory. • Experience in Auditing would be beneficial. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes is desirable. • Strong skills in KPI Reporting are necessary. • Experience with Intercompany Transactions is required. • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is a must. • Knowledge of SyteLine software would be advantageous. • Familiarity with SAP software is essential. • Experience in Intercompany Accounting is needed. • Ability to perform Variance Analysis is required. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential. • Experience with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation is necessary. • CPA certification would be a valuable asset. • A University Degree in a relevant field is required. • Experience in creating and analyzing Aging Reports is necessary.
