Summary: The Shareholder Services Program Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the scholarship and internship programs designed to support the educational and professional development of shareholders. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the programs' success and alignment with the organization's mission and goals. This role requires strong leadership, innovative thinking, and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines and standards. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Develop and oversee the administration of scholarship programs, including application processes, selection criteria, and award distribution. Design, implement, and manage various development initiatives such as internship programs, professional development workshops, and mentorship opportunities aimed at providing shareholders with valuable work experience and growth opportunities Coordinate with educational institutions, industry partners, and internal departments to ensure effective program delivery and expansion of opportunities. Manage program budgets, ensuring financial accountability and efficiency Manage scholarship budgets, ensuring funds are allocated appropriately and transparently. Coordinate outreach to promote various program opportunities to shareholders, including workshops, webinars, and information sessions. Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and recommend improvements based on feedback and data analysis. Design, implement, and manage internship programs aimed at providing shareholders with valuable work experience and professional development opportunities with the oversight of the department lead. Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to identify internship opportunities and match them with qualified shareholders. Monitor and support interns throughout their placements, addressing any issues and ensuring a positive experience. Develop and maintain relationships with partner organizations to expand internship opportunities. Track and report on the outcomes and impact of various programs, using this data to enhance program offerings. Establish and maintain strong relationships with shareholders, providing them with guidance and support regarding available programs. Develop and implement communication strategies to keep shareholders informed about shareholder services program updates and opportunities. Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of event programs such as workshops, webinars, information sessions, and other shareholder engagement activities Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to senior management on program status, achievements, and challenges. Ensure all programs comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in scholarship and internship program management. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities. Perform other duties as assigned for program creation or management. Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Proven ability to design, implement, and manage programs effectively. Ability to develop and implement communication strategies. Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with shareholders, partners, and stakeholders. Budget management skills to ensure appropriate allocation and transparency of funds. Ability to supervise, mentor, and evaluate program staff. Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate the team. Strong problem-solving skills to address issues that arise during program implementation. Understanding of scholarship and internship program administration, including application processes and selection criteria. Strong understanding of Alaska Native cultures and values. Sensitivity to cultural issues and the ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment. Knowledge of relevant regulations and organizational policies related to scholarship and internship programs. Ability to ensure programs comply with these regulations and policies. Awareness of current trends and best practices in scholarship, internship, and workforce development programs. Skills in using data to inform program improvements and reporting. Ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a dynamic corporate environment Skill in working harmoniously within cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Possesses attention to detail. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and with outside agencies, partners, shareholders, and business associates Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to adapt messages and strategies for diverse audiences Basic understanding of relevant software, tools, and systems used in the corporate environment. This includes a proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, human resources, or a related field OR equivalent years of related experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in scholarship, internship, or educational programs. Strong understanding of Alaska Native cultures and values. Ability to travel as needed.
