Klarent Hospitality are recruiting for a Hotel Manager at DoubleTree Angel Kings Cross, our flagship London property


This is a very exciting opportunity to join a team and Company that believe in development and progression. 

This role will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for the day to day running of all areas of the hotel ensuring Heads of Department achieve and exceed their revenue and guest satisfaction targets.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Work in conjunction with the General Manager to actively manage key property issues (including capital projects; customer service; refurbishment)Assist the development of meaningful, achievable hotel budgets and other short- and long-term hotel strategic goalsProvide effective leadership to the hotel management team to ensure targets are met and exceededRespond to audits that are completed by the company to ensure continual improvement Plan, direct and coordinate the service delivery of all operational departments in order to meet and exceed guest expectationsComply with and exceed hotel, brand and company service standardsEnsure that costs are controlled throughout the operational departments and results are analysed regularly to highlight opportunities for improvement and take appropriate actionManage, support, and develop the Heads of Department to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within the hotel and companySeek and respond to guest feedback in order to achieve positive outcomes and high levels of customer satisfactionHold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team


Work Experience

What we are looking for:

Experience in a senior management role in a branded hotel, at least at Deputy General Manager or Director of Operations levelPassionate with ambition to become a General Manager in the futurePositive attitude and someone who makes our team and guests smileThrive in a fast paced, results focussed environmentResilient, able to respond quickly in challenging and ever changing situationsStrong commercial acumenExperience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting resultsAble to motivate the team to achieve high levels of performance
