Minimum experience and education: Candidates with a BS degree must have the minimum of  11 years or 132 months of work experience specificto the job description.  

If a candidate has a  Master’s degree, they still need a minimum of 11 years or 132 months of work experience but only nine years or 108 months of experience specific to the job.  The other work experience to meet the 132 months does not have to be IT related.

Work experience while in college can be counted toward the overall years.

 

If no degree,

work experience may be substituted.

Certifications Preferred: 

Microsoft SharePoint Certifications

 

Background clearance: All candidates selected will have to go through a Federal government background check prior to being able to start.  Generally, the background process takes between 3,4 or 5 weeks. The time is dependent on how quickly the candidate is able to complete the paperwork.

Candidates will obtain a Public Trust clearance upon approval.

Job Description:

 

This position, for a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator, that will complete customizations within a Microsoft SharePoint Server Environment supporting both 2010 and 2013.

The candidate will assist other Site Owners in the management, page layout, content, and development for sites. In close coordination with the user-base, develops and maintains content, libraries, and lists. Tasks include business requirements analysis, facilitating user groups and integrated project teams for the planning, creation, configuration, customization, checks, and remedy of issues related to SharePoint Sites and Users requirements. User training is key. They will provide technical support for Microsoft SharePoint Server Environment. This includes support for the setup and creation of SharePoint sites and support for the client community in developing such. Troubleshooting of SharePoint problems and user community questions will also be required.
 
Skills Requirements:


User Support experience

Business Analysis experience or Documenting User Requirements. 
Experience with assisting and training personnel in the area of SharePoint Services.
.Designer and building workflow applications using SharePoint Designer or Visual Studio/C#.

.Experience with building Business Intelligence/Dashboards.

.Experience with Content Management.

.Experience with out-of-the-box SharePoint functionality including list/library creation and customization, permissions management, and content management.

.Experience creating web user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.

.Design and development of custom SharePoint Web parts, SharePoint Features or SharePoint Apps, designing user interfaces, writing test plans, and testing applications.

.Experience with development and enforcement of system polices with regard to file content, server storage, and user capabilities.
