SharePoint Applications Lead
Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Applications Lead to join our team in support of the Office of the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army (OAA). The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical authority for deployed SharePoint applications/solutions, managing all aspects of application deployment, administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support activities. This role requires collaboration with various functional areas to ensure timely resolution of issues related to SharePoint-supported applications.

This position can be located remotely anywhere in the U.S.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Act as the primary technical expert for SharePoint applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Oversee the deployment, administration, and maintenance of SharePoint applications.
- Provide technical support and resolve issues related to SharePoint applications promptly.
- Work closely with other OAA and Army functional areas to address and resolve SharePoint application issues.
- Monitor SharePoint site collections and correct issues related to site collections and permissions.
- Manage the migration of SharePoint site collections between different SharePoint Farms or hardware platforms.
- Mentor and train colleagues on new SharePoint techniques and technologies.
- Utilize Microsoft Power Platform tools to deliver customized SharePoint solutions and graphical reports

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

-BS in Computer Science or related discipline
- 8-10 yrs IT related experience
-5+ yrs experience configuring and managing Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint Online or higher application solutions.
- US citizenship and SECRET security clearance are required
- Proficiency in monitoring and correcting SharePoint site collections issues and permissions.
- Experience in migrating SharePoint site collections between different environments.
- Ability to mentor and train colleagues on SharePoint technologies.
- Experience using Microsoft Power Platform tools for customized solutions and reports.
- Certifications (Optional): SCRUM Master certification.
- Certifications (Required): Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals or Microsoft Certified Power Platform App Maker Associate or demonstrated equivalency. Certification must be obtained within six (6) months after the contract Transition-In period.


CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $99,200.00 - $241,600.00.
