SharePoint-Senior Business Analyst Disney- Corp

9 month+ contract

Must be onsite in LA 4 days a week

Notes: Team this is working with the legal team transitioning their internal application Legal Insider from SharePoint on Prem to SharePoint Cloud, would need to have experience doing a migration like this.
Must have -SharePoint knowledge that can be leveraged to help set expectations on possible limitations with SharePoint Online while capturing requirements and to allow proper first-point UAT testing of the delivered sites.

Working with Legal Teams is preferred
This is a technical BA role

This senior business analyst role is responsible for the collection and documentation of stories supporting the migration of the Legal Intranet from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online. The Legal intranet is comprised of hundreds of informational sites and sites used for operational tracking purposes with custom capabilities. The selected candidate will work closely with members in Legal Operations and key contacts on the implementation team to ensure stories properly represent required needs and capabilities. The candidate is expected to have SharePoint knowledge that can be leveraged to help set expectations on possible limitations with SharePoint Online while capturing requirements and to allow proper first-point UAT testing of the delivered sites.
Responsibilities
· Elicit requirements and document as stories to be used by the implementation team for configuration and development
· Create and follow UAT scripts and document results to ensure requirements are met

Basic Qualifications:

Experience
· Firsthand BA or technical experience with SharePoint site creation and/or migrations
· Experience with eliciting requirements
· Participation in a full range of testing activities (functional testing, user acceptance testing, integration testing, data migration)
· Participation in formal change management processes
· At least 5 years as a business analyst in large companies
· Preferred experience with intranet projects and legal technologies

· Knowledge of SharePoint functionality and SharePoint Online capabilities and limitations
· Detail oriented
· Exemplary communications skills and ability to create artifacts to support storytelling

Education:

Must have a BS degree
