Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building application using soap web services for SharePoint
- Responsible for Interface points, building service definitions and implementing the integration from given requirements
Required Skills/Experience:
- Extensive experience integrating SharePoint with third-party applications and external data
- Experience with Enterprise SharePoint 2010 and 2007
- Build native SharePoint Web parts that interact with external applications and SharePoint documents/sites
- Exposure building, packaging and deploying these web parts
- Building applications that integrate with SharePoint using SharePoint web services
- Plug-in to SharePoint search to bring external data in the context of SharePoint search results and vice versa
- Thorough understanding of notification API exposed by SharePoint objects
