Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for Global SharePoint Solutions and related technologies. This includes a migration from 2007 to 2010 as well as supporting data center consolidation efforts. Additionally, this role will be involved in an upgrade to the clients’ internal intranet and the external website, which are SharePoint-based.
In this position, the successful candidate must demonstrate enterprise experience in design/delivery of distributed IT solutions to meet business requirements in a dynamic environment.
Executing the strategy and designs set by architecture by developing implementation plans and system integration work including building, testing, implementing, maintaining and optimizing the Infrastructure and Operations, in accordance with corporate policies and guidelines.
Must have ability to partner and work with business unit, vendor application development as well as diverse areas within IT in an on-going basis.
Ideal candidate will draw upon professional experience to anticipate problems and propose sound solutions that address needs of the project.
Requirements:
n Strong experience implementing and supporting SharePoint Server 2007 and 2010 Enterprise in a large multi-farm implementation with multiple custom applications.
n Strong experience working with SharePoint Services 3.0/Windows SharePoint Foundation 2010 architecture.
n Working knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008
n Working knowledge of software development lifecycle and application architecture
n Working knowledge of Active Directory and MS Windows 2003//2008 R2
n Working knowledge of Microsoft Clustering Services
n Leadership and People Management Skills
n Excellent documentation and communication skills
n Process and Change Management Skills
n Participate in Operational Queue
Preferred Skills:
n Experience with systems support and performance analysis
n Experience data replication technologies
n Experienced in SharePoint Search 2010 and FAST Search for SharePoint.
n Experience in a highly scalable and fault tolerant environment
n Working knowledge of IIS Configuration
n Working knowledge of other technology infrastructure components, including but not limited to TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Firewall rules, SSL, and system management / monitoring SNMP
