SharePoint Manager (C80-2024-21863):
Bowhead seeks a SharePoint Manager to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division. The contract supports business services in support of Code 80 and other organizations associated with or sponsoring the NSWCCD. The business services include Program Management and Planning, Finance, Logistics, Security, Space Planning, Safety, Administrative Services, Technical Editing, Records Management, and Computer Engineering and IT support.
Responsibilities
The SharePoint Manager shall provide administrative (Task Area 4.8) support services to [code] 103 to develop a command wide content management strategy for sharing command news, events, and critical information using SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams platforms, leveraging industry best practices, centered around user experience. The strategy shall be in accordance with the command’s business goals, including clearly defined content owners, requirements on content updates, and establishing a governance strategy associated with user generated content. All content shall be developed using a uniformed approach including branding, design, layout, and style. The SharePoint Manager shall work with command stakeholders to develop a single information architecture based on the SharePoint platform. They will work with command stakeholders to develop a long term content curation strategy that aligns with the command wide content management strategy.
The SharePoint Manager shall use Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other commercial software to develop content catalogs. Additionally, the contractor will provide content posting, and maintenance for the Command SharePoint Online environment. They will conduct a current state assessment of the organization’s readiness to leverage SharePoint Online tools to serve as a Command Intranet site, from a user experience perspective. Working with designated stakeholders, the contractor will provide recommendations on how the Command can better use SharePoint Online Tools to promote information sharing, knowledge retention and collaboration. They will determine and provide ways to track user adoption of SharePoint Online and increased satisfaction with Command Information. The SharePoint Manager shall provide administrative maintenance and management of the Teams and SharePoint pages. This shall include development, testing, deployment, maintenance and decommission as needed. They shall support integration of existing SharePoints and Teams platforms in the unified command platform. They shall support integration of existing SharePoints, Teams platforms, and other databases into the unified command platform.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldMinimum of five (5) years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator or similar roleStrong technical knowledge of SharePoint technologies, including SharePoint Server, SharePoint Online, SharePoint Designer, PowerShell, and Visual StudioFamiliarity with SharePoint development and customization, including web parts, workflows, templates, and brandingSolid understanding of SharePoint security, authentication, authorization, and compliance requirementsProficient in troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues and errors
Targeted Salalry range will be $90,0000-$110,000 annually based on qualifications and experience.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Mustbe able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
