She Media: Vice President, Revenue Operations & Product

The Vice President of Revenue Operations & Product will be responsible for leading and scaling our media revenue strategy, driving both topline growth and profitability across our OMP, PMP and Direct ad product business. This role will oversee the full lifecycle of programmatic operations, from managing and optimizing SSP relationships to developing new revenue streams and ensuring seamless execution of Private Marketplace (PMP) and Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deals. Additionally, this role will oversee the strategy, innovation, and evolution of our AD product, programmatic product, and PMP product offerings, ensuring they remain competitive and seamlessly integrated with our broader monetization strategy.

The VP Of Revenue Operations & Product will serve as the senior programmatic expert both internally and externally, working closely with key stakeholders across Sales, Yield/RevOps, AdOps, PubOps, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure programmatic success at scale. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping our programmatic vision, identifying new business opportunities, and aligning strategy with broader organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the programmatic landscape, a track record of driving revenue growth, and the ability to represent the company in high-level client and partner conversations.

Responsibilities:

Programmatic Strategy, Ad Product Innovation & Revenue Growth

Lead the programmatic revenue strategy, identifying and executing initiatives that drive revenue and maximize yield across all demand sources. Oversee the development, innovation, and integration of new Ad products, programmatic solutions, and PMP offerings to meet evolving market demands and enhance our competitive positioning. Optimize programmatic partnerships, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring ongoing strategic alignment with SSPs, exchanges, and demand partners. Identify emerging trends in programmatic advertising and implement innovative solutions and products to stay ahead of industry changes. Spearhead the continuous evolution of our programmatic business, from technical enhancements to data-driven decision-making.

SSP & Partner Management

Oversee and strengthen relationships with SSPs, DSPs, and other programmatic partners, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Lead negotiations with new and existing partners to secure improved terms, reduce discrepancies, and maximize overall profitability. Evaluate and onboard new SSPs, ensuring they align with our revenue and performance objectives.

Deal Execution, Strategy & Optimization

Guide the development and execution of high-impact PMP and PG deals, ensuring they deliver against buyer objectives and drive sustained revenue growth. Partner with the Sales team to develop innovative programmatic solutions that unlock new revenue opportunities. Lead strategic discussions with advertisers, agencies, and partners to showcase our programmatic capabilities and value proposition.

Yield, Inventory, & Product Optimization

Define and execute yield management strategies that drive higher revenue per mille (RPM) for publisher partners. Oversee ad inventory segmentation and categorization, aligning supply-side strategy with demand-side needs. Continuously innovate and refine AD product, PMP, and programmatic offerings, ensuring they align with market trends and advertiser needs. Analyze historical performance, identifying key revenue drivers and new opportunities for optimization.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Internal Collaboration

Act as the primary programmatic thought leader within the organization, educating and guiding internal teams on programmatic best practices and trends. Work closely with Engineering to prioritize and drive product roadmap initiatives that enhance our programmatic capabilities. Collaborate with the Data team to refine audience segmentation strategies and improve targeting effectiveness. Partner with Audience Development and PubOps teams to optimize syndication strategies and expand premium inventory offerings. Develop and present executive-level insights on programmatic performance, trends, and opportunities to leadership teams.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in programmatic operations, revenue strategy, or ad tech leadership roles. Deep expertise in SSPs, DSPs, Prebid/oRTB, GAM, and programmatic ecosystem platforms. Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies for AD products, PMP, and programmatic offerings. Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets using Excel, Looker, SQL, or similar tools. Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration, with experience managing multiple stakeholders across PubOps, Sales, Engineering, BI, and Data teams. Hands-on experience with PMP setup, troubleshooting, and optimization. Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex programmatic concepts to internal and external stakeholders.

Typical wage range: $160k - $180k + Bonus

Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
