Job Title:

Sheet Metal Foreman

Job Summary:

  Responsible for all aspects of the Sheet Metal trade on commercial job sites.  Responsibilities include performing and coordinating the installation of HVAC equipment and    related duct systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs various field tasks associated with the HVAC sheet metal trade. Installs and renovates commercial HVAC air distribution systems Organizes material and manpower needs for jobs/projects Layout duct work (as well as fittings and specialty items) to accommodate job specifications.

Qualifications:

Current or previous leadership experience as Foreman, Supervisor, or Superintendent working on commercial sheet metal projects. At least 5 years installing HVAC sheet metal systems. Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade and general construction environment. Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used in the sheet metal trade. Ability to direct and instruct mechanics and apprentices. Physical activities include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders, walking and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. are required.
