**Job Title: Sheet Metal Foreman** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Foreman with extensive knowledge of multiple types of architectural sheet metal products and systems. The ideal candidate will possess advanced planning skills to establish maximum productivity of the workforce, materials, and equipment. They should have strong interpersonal skills, including effective oral and written communication, as well as the ability to read, analyze, and interpret various documents. A strong mathematical aptitude and common sense understanding are essential. **Responsibilities** + Plan and oversee the installation of architectural sheet metal products and systems. + Ensure maximum productivity of workforce, materials, and equipment. + Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. + Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. + Perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. + Represent the company in a professional manner, promoting a positive and productive environment. + Identify and resolve problems, multi-task, and follow through to bring tasks to closure. + Set priorities and maintain a sense of urgency in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner. **Essential Skills** + Extensive knowledge of architectural sheet metal products and systems. + Advanced planning and organizational skills. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills. + Ability to perform mathematical calculations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. + Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications. + Experience with sheet metal, blueprint reading, construction, and duct work. + Comfortable using computer applications including Microsoft Office. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + 5-8 years of related experience and/or training. + Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. + Ability to work at heights and travel occasionally. + Available for extended hours when necessary. **Why Work Here?** We offer a sign-on bonus up to $1,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with matching, dental insurance, employee assistance and discount programs, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, life insurance, paid time off, referral programs, relocation assistance, and vision insurance. The employee will also be required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, and kneel. Frequently, the employee must lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. If eligible, the first day you can get sick and vacation time is the first of the month after your start date.
