**Sheet Metal Technician - Immediately Hiring - San Diego, CA** **Job Description** + We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Technician to join our team for commercial projects in San Diego County. + The selected candidate will work alongside a team of sheet metal installers, performing tasks such as installing hanging straps, square, round, and rectangular ducting, uni-strut hangers, air-handlers, and ductless split systems. + The role involves working on ladders and scissor lifts. + The candidate must possess all necessary sheet metal hand tools and a cordless power drill. **Responsibilities** + Install hanging straps, square, round, and rectangular ducting. + Install uni-strut hangers, air-handlers, and ductless split systems. + Work on ladders and scissor lifts. + Perform tasks such as trash/scraps cleanup, relocating material, and any other necessary duties. **Essential Skills** + 3-5 years of HVAC sheet metal experience. + Experience with ductwork installation, including round, rectangle, and spiral ducts. + Ability to read blueprints and mechanical installation plans. + Possession of all necessary sheet metal hand tools and a cordless power drill. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with commercial projects. + Ability to perform tasks efficiently and safely. **Work Environment** + The work involves commercial and industrial projects, primarily tenant improvements (TI) and new construction.
