Apprentice or Journeyman Sheet Metal Installer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Metal Installer to join our team, specializing in sheer sheet metal installation for multi-family residential buildings. This role involves working on and off ladders, drilling holes, and following layout specifications to install materials. You will work primarily off pre-laid plans, running ventilation and ducting. This position is less labor-intensive compared to most AC/sheet metal installation roles.

Essential SkillsMinimum 2nd year apprentice sheet metal installer.Experience in multi-family residential or commercial settings.Proficient in sheet metal, duct work, and duct installation.Ability to use drills, tape measures, screwdrivers, and steel toe boots.

Work Environment

Work sites are based on your home address, with 55 active projects in Calgary. Immediate attention is needed in Crowfoot. Standard hours are 7am-3:30pm, with overtime available. Most sites offer parking or are transit accessible. Projects are residential new construction, ranging from townhomes to woodframe walkups and concrete towers. We work year-round directly for residential developers, with over 25+ projects currently ongoing across Calgary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, Alberta.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $40.00/hr.
