Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job Description

Responsible for installing all types of sheet metal ducting, including spiral, galvanized, rectangular, double wall, and fiberglass. General knowledge of piping and controls is required for installation and retrofitting. The role involves measuring and cutting appropriate sizes of sheet metal, as well as installing preassembled ducts. You will interpret blueprints and complete layouts as needed, using scribers, dividers, and squares to mark dimensions on materials.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The job site is HCA Parrish Hospital, set to open in Spring 2025. The work environment may include exposure to the elements, and you must be comfortable working in the Florida heat. Open to both English and Spanish speakers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00
