**Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a skilled sheet metal mechanic to perform duct installation for various projects across the state. This role requires expertise in sheet metal work and HVAC systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform duct installation for HVAC systems in various projects.
+ Ensure all installations meet industry standards and project requirements.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
+ Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal accurately.
+ Install and secure sheet metal components using appropriate tools and techniques.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in sheet metal work
+ Experience in duct installation
+ Knowledge of HVAC systems
+ SM2 certification
+ SM1 certification
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Attention to detail
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
+ Strong problem-solving skills
+ Effective communication and teamwork abilities

**Work Environment**
You will work in various project sites across the state, requiring travel. The role involves physical labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in different weather conditions. Appropriate safety gear and tools will be provided.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Fairfield County, Connecticut.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00
