Job Description
We are seeking skilled Sheet Metal Mechanics and Helpers to install HVAC systems on commercial construction projects. The ideal candidates will have experience in cutting, bending, shaping, and installing sheet metal for HVAC ducts and fittings.
ResponsibilitiesInstall HVAC systems on commercial construction projects.Hang, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal.Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate duct runs using hand tools and power tools.Assemble and install sheet metal ducts, filters, and hangers.Join ducts and fittings using screws, bolts, drives, solder, caulk, and weld joints.Essential Skills4+ years of experience on commercial construction projects.Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.Experience laying hangers and installing duct.Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.Ability to cut and fabricate sheet metal.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to read blueprints.Experience with HVAC sheet metal installation.General labor and mechanical skills.Experience with sheet metal fabrication and repair.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will need to travel to the job site daily in your own vehicle. Job sites will be located in San Antonio. Expect to work 40+ hours per week, with flexibility for overtime as needed. Work starts between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm most days. A mandatory safety orientation will be conducted at the office on the first Monday of employment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $31.00/hr.
