**Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to install HVAC systems on commercial construction projects. This role involves cutting, bending, shaping sheet metal, and assembling and installing sheet metal ducts. The ideal candidate will have experience with duct installation and be proficient in using hand tools and power tools to cut openings in walls and floors. **Responsibilities** + Install HVAC systems on commercial construction projects. + Hang, cut, bend, shape sheet metal. + Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate runs of duct using hand tools and power tools. + Assemble and install sheet metal ducts, fittings, and hangers. + Join ducts and fittings using screws, bolts, drives, solder, caulk, and weld joints. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of experience on commercial construction projects. + Experience reading and interpreting blueprints. + Experience laying hangers and installing ducts. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with sheet metal fabrication and installation. + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. + Ability to read blueprints. + Experience with HVAC installation. + General mechanical skills. **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for overtime and career growth.
